Thank you for purchasing from OEMENGINEANDTRANSMISSION. We strive to provide high-quality used engines, transmissions, and engine parts. However, we understand that sometimes returns are necessary. This policy outlines our procedures for returns and refunds.
1. Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:
- The return request must be initiated within 30 days of the original purchase date.
- The item must be in the same condition as when you received it, including all original packaging and documentation.
- The item must not have been installed or used improperly. Damage due to improper installation or use is not covered.
- You must provide proof of purchase, such as the order number or receipt.
2. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return:
- Items that have been damaged due to misuse, abuse, or neglect.
- Items that have been altered or modified in any way.
- Electrical parts that have been installed.
- Items that were sold as “final sale” or “as-is”.
3. How to Initiate a Return
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

- Provide your order number, the item you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
- Our customer service team will review your request and provide you with a Return Authorization (RA) number and instructions for returning the item.
4. Return Shipping
- You are responsible for the cost of return shipping, unless the return is due to our error (e.g., we shipped the wrong item or the item was defective upon arrival).
- We recommend using a trackable shipping method and insuring the return shipment, as we are not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.
- The RA number must be clearly marked on the outside of the return package.
5. Inspection and Processing
Once we receive the returned item, we will inspect it to ensure it meets the eligibility criteria outlined in this policy. If the return is approved, we will process your refund as follows:
- Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
- Refund Timeframe: Please allow 7-10 business days for the refund to be processed and reflected in your account.
- Restocking Fee: A restocking fee of up to 20% may apply to returns that are not due to our error.

We do not currently offer direct exchanges. If you need a different item, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order for the desired item.
